The EKKI – MCET International Water Technology Centre was established in 5th September 2019 and was opened by Dr. M. Manickam, M.Sc., MBA, Chairman – NIA Educational institutions. The mission of the centre is “To create a world class centre of excellence that focus on making significant difference to the pump industry and water related technologies”.

This Centre will be crucial for the collection and dissemination of existing knowledge and to provide a hub for interdisciplinary education, developing vocational engineering, diploma and apprenticeship student programs both for students and EKKI professionals.

The EKKI-MCET International Water Technology Centre (EIWTC) is a global centre of excellence for pumps and water-related technologies. The centre, which will exchange best practices in teaching and research for the pump industry and water-related technologies, is equipped with a state of the art product galleria, pump testing fluid factory and a knowledge transfer classroom.
