To give students a chance to gain practical exposure in the automotive industry, BMW launched an” Skill Next” initiative on where it would distribute 365 BMW engine and transmission units for free to engineering and technical institutes across the country.
Cricketer and BMW India’s brand ambassador, Sachin Tendulkar quotes, “I strongly believe that initiatives like ‘Skill Next’ will promote the development of automotive engineering skills in our country. It is an opportunity for technical students across every state and Union territory to get directly trained on BMW engines and transmissions. It’s easier for the students to understand technology through the first-hand experience.”
